Head for the Hills is back for 2023
Head for the Hills is an annual festival with an eclectic programme of music and arts welcoming audiences from Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
Based in Bury, Greater Manchester, the festival has attracted international artists and household names to perform since its first year in 2011. Previous headliners include Badly Drawn Boy, Everything Everything, Inspiral Carpets, Public Service Broadcasting, Gaz Coombes, The Wonderstuff, Maximo Park, Boomtown Rats, The Stranglers, Sinead O’Connor, The Waterboys, The Proclaimers, Guillemots, Beth Orton and Soul II Soul.
The festival also hosts additional stages, family arts and participation in stunning outdoor settings.
The festival is proud is be affiliated with Keychange and Black Lives in Music supporting artists from under represented backgrounds.
Organised by award winning arts charity, The Met, the festival will take place in September 2023.
