News: One Week until Slow Readers Club Headline Head For The Hills

Head For The Hills festival 2018 gets underway at Ramsbottom cricket club on Friday 14 September with new headline act Slow Readers Club set for an eagerly-anticipated return to the festival.

Following the news that 2-Tone legends The Beat were unable to play due to illness, the fast-rising Manchester indie-electro act Slow Readers Club have proven a popular replacement. The band, named Best Breakthrough Act at the City Life Awards earlier this year, have played the festival in the Ramsbottom hills twice previously.

The band recently told the Manchester Evening News how much they are looking forward to returning to Head For The Hills.

The headline appearance comes on the same day the Readers release a new 6-track acoustic EP, recorded in Bury at The Met’s Edwin St studios.
